How to put my ASP.NET applications on the real www? ?

Hi, I can make them on my computer by setting the location to file system. But then when I upload those files to my host I get an error message.





The host does run ASP.NET applications so I think there is somwthing wrong with the way I'm doing it.

Chances are you have something hardcoded to a file that it cannot find or you haven't published it incorrectly. Change your web.config file to enable debuging. I also set up another temp ASP.Net server to test against because you never know what might be missing. Set up IIS on another computer, should be free. I had a problem years ago where there was a .Net component installed on my dev maching but wasn't installed on the ASP.Net server.How to put my ASP.NET applications on the real www? ?
There are a lot of things that could be wrong. I would need to know the error message you are getting to be able to figure out what might be wrong.
Most sites do not. You are better usin\g php, which is supported by every site, rather than asp, which is generally only supported on Microsoft server sites. There are far less of these than Linux based servers.
